This workshop will focus on standing and seated poses commonly found in our multi-level, intermediate, and power classes, with time set aside to break down any additional poses you’d like to explore.
We’ll begin with a brief discussion of the foundational elements along with the purpose of each pose, followed by a short practice to warm the body. From there, we’ll move into a guided breakdown and exploration of each posture and how the posture best fits in your body. Optional hands-on assists will be offered to support your experience.
This workshop will be led by Alana and Anne, who bring a combined 40 years of teaching experience working with all bodies. Their approach is rooted in a deep understanding of how the body moves, recognizing that each individual may need a different pathway to safely and effectively access a posture.
The workshop will conclude with an extended savasana.
You can expect a session that is playful, informative, and deeply grounding.
